Our shop represents more than just owning a business for us - it’s a way for us to connect to the community, encourage people to read outside the box, to hopefully effect social change by highlighting marginalized voices. We get to know our customers and hunt for books at book sales. We see reunions between people and favorite books - we experience magic.

We will be reopening soon and taking every precaution we can to make it a safe environment for our customers and staff. We hope that you will continue to order from us online and via our posts on social media. But if you are really missing coming to the shop, you can make an appointment on our website for a 30 min browsing time. We will only allow 5 people in the shop at a time, we are requiring that you wear a mask to enter, and you must stay 6 feet away from others while browsing. Our staff will give you a 10 minute warning when it’s time to make your way to the register.
